JordanK_ Got A Problem?!

This world is just fluttered with problems and there are far to many in any situation to be addressed at news conferences, face to face meetings or board meetings. Many problems are solved through writing. Whether it be a memo, a letter, or a report there are certain things you should include to make sure that your problem is taken care of. A few of these items you should include in your writing are:

-Include the problem

-Include possible solutions

-Include directions on how to accomplish these solutions

-Include the information of those who could help

  1. Thanks Jordan. I think one of the most useful things we covered in our textbook mentioned taking the time to actually determine what the problem really is, as it may seem like one thing, but really is another.

  2. Jordan you did a wonderful job. I can see you used the textbook. Which means you took your time to read more about your topic. You gave a lot of good pointers as well.

  3. Great post with information from the text. Problems are usually avoided and no one really "takes the bull by the horns" anymore. There is a way to do this while writing that is both tactful, direct and non-offensive. As your post states, not only does the problem need to be addressed, but a solution should be presented as well.

    Good post !

  4. Good job on writing in a personal tone.

  5. Catchy title. Use more "I" in your next post and tell your story as it relates to the topic to personalize it more. Don't forget to cite your graphic (which is ungrammatical by the way).

  6. I agree with all of this. Resolving problems helps with life and just makes it easier. Whether its in the work place, with your parents, or with your girlfriend (which I am dealing with right now), isolating the problem, and working it out in a professional and well mannered way always follows with results.
